As a Lead Data Specialist, you will design and maintain data architectures and pipelines, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and value creation across the company.

About the Role
In this role, you will work closely with colleagues in Finance, IT, and other business areas, combining hands-on technical work with strategic input to develop our data landscape.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and architectures using Azure, SQL, Python, Notebooks, (potentially DataBricks or Data Factory etc.)
- Develop automation solutions to improve efficiency and data reliability.
- Manage and maintain master data processes and governance.
- Perform testing and monitoring to ensure data quality.
- Contribute to data modeling and architectural decision-making.
- Act as a subject matter expert and collaborate across teams to strengthen data-driven decision-making.
- Take full ownership of the Azure environment for BI/Lakehouse and deliver end- to-end solutions from concept to production.
About You
- Higher education in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture, with hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines.
- You have solid experience with SQL and Python and are comfortable working hands-on in Lakehouse and Data Warehouse environments.
- You are familiar with modern development practices such as DevOps and have experience or interest in working with cloud platforms like Azure.
- You are curious about new technologies and take initiative to improve ways of working and you enjoy working hands-on with both coding and infrastructure.
- You are pragmatic, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership in a low-structure, high-trust environment.
- You are fluent in English, our working language, and able to communicate technical concepts in a clear and accessible way. You are also comfortable collaborating across both technical and non-technical teams.
