Job Description:
- Lead role for ensuring completions and commissioning requirements are carried out safely, efficiently, and ensure they meet all Company’s project and operational requirements. Including verification and assurance.
- Be part of the site team in connection with necessary preparations, check-out and power-up (FSE).
- Be responsible in connection with preparations work and energizing temporary equipment, e.g., temporary generators.
- Be responsible for establishing and verifying the LUN for all EIT equipment, with subsequent activation and check-out of electrical equipment ahead of dynamic commissioning.
- Be responsible for the overall status of all electrical equipment such as switchboards, incomers, MCC, starters, etc.
- Be part of the commissioning certification and handover process for ensuring safe and efficient handover to Operations upon completion of commissioning.
Organization / Leadership - Provide leadership and direction to the Commissioning electro team and ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety and the environment to achieve Company’s expectations.
- Provision of commissioning support to project as required including ensure sufficient manning according to project needs.
- When required act as deputy for the site commissioning EICT lead during the commissioning phases.
Qualifications:
- BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
- Experience from project's operations is of great benefit.
Experience - Track record of engineering competency and delivery in the Oil & Gas industry and able to demonstrate effective project management skills
- Familiarity with planning tools, works management systems and document management systems
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of the products from the main supplier of electrical equipment.
- Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning technicians.
