About the role: 

We are seeking a Client Operations Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance our IT operations, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 administration, security, and support. This role is vital to ensuring smooth onboarding, policy management, and support for both local and remote teams. As part of a growing, agile company, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in various areas, including IT security, user support, and software development.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Client Operations Engineer you will be responsible for:

Microsoft 365 Suite Administration:

  • Manage user access, security policies, and licenses for Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) Management:
  • Configure and manage dynamic groups.
  • Implement and oversee access and security policies.
  • Administer enterprise applications and app registrations.
  • Support SAML and SCIM integrations.
 Workstation and Device Management via Microsoft Intune:
  • Enforce security, access, and compliance policies.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date asset inventory.
 Security Awareness and Training Program:
  • Coordinate phishing attack simulation campaigns.
  • Manage training and assessment campaigns using tools like KnowBe4.
 License Management:
  • Evaluate and process license requests.
  • Conduct regular reviews and cleanups of license usage.
User Onboarding and Offboarding:
  • Order and prepare IT equipment for new hires.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software incidents.
  • Provide first- and second-line support for user issues.
Meeting Rooms and Office Equipment Support:
  • Resolve issues related to meeting room technology.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to maintain and support equipment for printing, display, networking, and other office IT needs.

Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for candidates with 2-5 years of professional experience in IT support, IT operations, or similar roles.
Ideal candidates will have experience managing Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) user access and policies, along with experience in Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) for group, security, and app management. Knowledge of security best practices for devices, users, and cloud-based systems is essential.
You should have proficiency with workstation and mobile device management using Microsoft Intune and hands-on experience with IT equipment lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning. Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell or similar) is a strong advantage, and familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence) is a plus.
