To strengthen our Finance Team we are seeking a Group Financial & ESG Controller to take a central role in driving our sustainability efforts while supporting high-quality financial reporting and compliance across the Group.
This is a unique opportunity to combine your passion for sustainability with financial controlling, ensuring that DN Media Group remains both financially strong and environmentally responsible. You will work cross-functionally with various departments and our newly established Sustainability Team. As our new Group Financial & ESG Controller, you will report directly to the Group Chief Accountant, with a dotted line to the CFO. The position is based at the Groups headquarter in Oslo.

As our new Group Financial & ESG Controller, you will report directly to the Group Chief Accountant, with a dotted line to the CFO. The position is based at the Groups headquarter in Oslo.
Key responsibilities and task
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for the Group, together with the Group Chief Accountant
- Prepare annual financial statements and tax returns for the subsidiaries
- Support in cash flow management
- Support in development and implementation of the Group's sustainability strategy, action planning and goal setting
- Act as a liaison between finance, operations and sustainability stakeholders to ensure coordinated ESG efforts and drive sustainability awareness and best practices
- Lead sustainability reporting, including data collection, analysis and compliance with relevant sustainability regulations
- Act as subject matter expert for sustainability analytics, governance and reporting
- Maintain and enhance the Group`s double materiality assessment
- Contribute to the improvement of internal control routines and processes
Desired qualifications:
- Master’s degree in accounting finance or relevant field
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong interest in sustainability with good understanding of ESG frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Experience with financial systems (ERP systems etc.) and processes, preferably within a group structure
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
