Looking for an IT Technician in the outskirts of Oslo

We are now looking for a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician.
Our customer’s infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 100 datacenters and 1 million servers. Responsibilities:
As a successful Data Center Technician, your day-to-day work will include:
• Remove network cables as part of a datacenter decommission
• Run/Label/Stage Power & Networking Cables
• DBD removal only (does not perform any scanning)
• Follows procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads
• Prepares, stages, sets up, and performs basic startups and shutdowns for hardware following written instructions, checklists, guides, standard procedures, and with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads
• Physical audits of datacenter assets
In addition, we would like you to:
· Learn, Live, and Coach the culture and values of our customer. Lead through change by bringing clarity, generating energy, and delivering success.
· Empower a culture of safety and security in global datacenter operations by complying with safety programs and policies and completing compliance knowledge assessments.
· Develop positive working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:

For this role, you are welcome to apply if you meet the following Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Required: Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
- At least One (1) year of experience in warehouse/supply chain/logistics
- Valid driving license and Windows 11 compatible Laptop WILL BE required.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to work with applications such as Outlook, Excel and Word
- Fluent in English both oral and in writing, as our customer’s working language is English
While not required, we also look for the following Preferred Qualifications:
- Desire to learn, grow, and develop new technical skills.
- Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or without equipment assistance.
- Able to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient in written and oral English communication to support regional and global teams.
- Flexibility to work non-standard business hours that may include weekends and/or holidays.
The candidates we are looking for are fluent in English and you have a Norwegian work visa already in place to be taken into consideration. The position as Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician will be based at our clients’ office in the outskirts of Oslo (Ytre Enebakk) You MUST have a car to get to the premises. Start date: 1st dec 2025. This is short time assignment that with end date 6 months from the start date.
The position is full time, with core business hours 7AM – 7PM, Monday through Friday.
