Locations: Trondheim, Oslo, Stavanger

This role as an drilling engineer is a part of our Client's D&W project and will be working in close 
collaboration with the asset, subsurface, projects, contractors and the drilling superintendents. The 
position will require presence at Client's offices either in Trondheim, Oslo or Stavanger and reports to
the relevant D&W Manager. The development consist of 9 subsea templates, 3 platforms and a total of 59 wells. 
Planned spud is during first half of 2025.

In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the drilling solutions based on best available 
technology, efficient operations and quality through lifetime of the wells. Contribute to deliver “the wells 
of tomorrow”. Be a part of the well delivery from early planning, via operation to production start.

Typical work tasks can be: 
• Seek and implement lessons from suppliers, other operators and within Aker BP
• Ensure continuous improvement during planning and operations.
• Challenge technical solutions and the “established truths”
• Delivering Main Drilling and Wells- and individual drilling programs.
• Support ongoing operations, onshore and offshore.
• Participate in technology implementation.

Skills and qualifications: 
• Minimum M.sc. engineering degree or similar in scientific subjects.
• Good understanding of how digitalization will affect how we work.
• Fluent in English and preferably fluent in Norwegian, both verbal and written
