Want to work at the interface between theoretical and practical tasks in an international manufacturing company?

Amiblu Technology AS
We at Amiblu create pipes and fittings from one of the world‘s most fascinating, versatile, responsible, and best-performance material: glass-fiber reinforced plastics, in short, GRP. We are a bunch of GRP nerds who are fiercely determined to tackle the world’s water crisis with modern and smart GRP pipe solutions. We operate in 125 countries worldwide and want to inspire people around the globe to value water as we should. Amiblu is headquartered in Klagenfurt, Austria, and our company has wholly owned production facilities in Germany, Spain, Poland, Romania, and Morocco. Amiblu Technology in Sandefjord is our R&D center, whose main task is to continue the work of remaining the world's leading player in GRP pipes, as well as providing services and support to our wholly owned and licensed production facilities worldwide.
To our team of experienced Engineers, we are looking for several new hires who can contribute with enthusiasm and new impulses. As part of our Technology Center, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations at our production facilities, develop new and better production methods, and contribute to training and commissioning of new production lines worldwide.

We are looking for candidates who want to work at the interface between theoretical and practical tasks in a manufacturing company. We do a lot of interdisciplinary collaboration across the development teams, and you should enjoy working together with your colleagues to solve challenging issues. Amiblu is an international corporation where you will have the opportunity to work in a truly international environment, and to visit our wholly owned and licensed production facilities worldwide on your mission to tackle the world’s water crisis.

We are looking to fill several needs within the process and material development domain. The main work tasks will vary depending on your experience and expertise, but could include:
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing and working processes to optimize production and new products
  • Work cross-functionally, within Amiblu Technology and across factories, to support new product development and testing of products in the laboratory
  • Lead, or participate in, research and development projects to ensure and drive further best-in-class manufacturing
  • Prepare and further develop technical documentation for the company's various processes and products
Whether you are interested in process or product development, or material science, we would like to hear from you. However, as a basis we do believe that you have a degree in materials, process, or chemical engineering, or similar. Some years’ experience working as an engineer is an advantage, but not a requirement.

An interest in recycling of GRP and processing of recyclate material in production is of particular interest.
