Weighbridge Operator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Weighbridge Operator
As a Weighbridge Operator, you will be responsible for accurately recording and documenting the weight of incoming and outgoing vehicles
Duties:
- Operate the weighbridge system to record and document the weight of incoming and outgoing vehicles
- Ensure accurate data entry of vehicle information, weight, and other relevant details into computerised systems
- Communicate with drivers and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, organizing paperwork, and maintaining records
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment
Experience:
- Experience of working in a similar role is essential
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills to manage paperwork, records, and documentation
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred but not required
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and professional communication skills
Hours of operation are 07:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday
