Terms of use
Data that is collected and stored in the Jobreg system is treated confidentially by professional recruiters and staffing advisors working at partners to Jobreg. These may be recruitment firms, staffing agencies or HR personnel at collaborating companies.
By accepting the terms of service, the privacy policy and the use of cookies, you consent to that Jobreg may process personal data about you in accordance with the Jobreg privacy policy. You are also aware of that, by being imported into a partner’s system (as you are informed of in your Jobreg profile), it is our partner’s privacy policy, terms of service and cookies policy that are in effect.
The information is provided out of free will and you have been informed of the right to request access, correction or deletion of your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Act.
Privacy statement
Your integrity is important to us, and this privacy policy describes how Jobreg collects and uses personal data. The privacy policy is based on the legislation of Norway, where Jobreg is established.
Collection of information
The information that you enter to the system is to be found in your system profile.
We gather user data regarding the visitors of our site, such as traffic data, location data, etc., using Google Analytics.
In some cases, we will store the e-mail conversation when you have contacted us.
The system places cookies in your web browser, as described in the information about our use of cookies.
Use of information
The information that is collected is used where it is necessary, in order to:
- Deliver our services to you and communicate around these services with you.
- Match your qualifications and to facilitate for present and future recruitment or staffing assignments.
- Inform of relevant opportunities and offers that we may provide.
- Comply with legal requirements.
Controller and Processor
Jobreg is the Controller and the party that owns the data that is entered to the system. The Processor, Recruitment Manager AS, is the party responsible for the system solution, that develops, maintains and operates the system where your personal data is being stored. Recruitment Manager AS uses subcontractors to perform some of the Processor tasks.
There is a separate Data Processing Agreement between Jobreg and Recruitment Manager AS, which regulates the type of information that the Controller is to have access to and how the information is to be handled.
Third parties
Jobreg wishes to process your personal data and for the data to also be available for presentation to customers and other collaborating partners to Jobreg. The Controller and the Processor are required to comply with the requirements that are stated by law.
To use the data efficiently, and to be able to offer you the best services possible, it is sometimes necessary to send information to a third party. These third parties have separate and independent privacy policies. Jobreg is not responsible for the content and the activities in associated services. Nevertheless, we still want to protect the integrity of the services we provide and welcome any feedback related to the area, whether it is regarding a third-party system or one of our partners. Access to and correction or deletion of your personal data
As registered in the system, you have the right to request access, correction and deletion as it is described in the Privacy Act
If you would wish to withdraw your consent to that Jobreg process your personal data, you do this by deleting your profile. As a candidate, you may at any time delete your profile from the “Profile” section in the system, or you can contact Jobreg to receive assistance. From your profile, you can also change the information that you have added to your system profile.

Please note that, since you are imported into one or more of our partners’ systems, requests for access to, or correction or deletion of personal data are to be addressed directly to that specific partner. You will be able to see a list of the partners that have imported your profile, placed in your Jobreg profile.
Cookies
We use cookies to enhance user experience and security.
Cookies are small files that are stored in your web browser or on the device that you are using when opening a web page. Just like most websites, we use cookies to provide you with a better, more responsive and safer user experience. We use cookies to, for example:
- Enable certain functionality in the system.
- Improve the safety around your and others user’s accounts with us.
- Gain insight about user behavior to enhance the user experience.
We are using business standard tools for visitor analysis, and these may place cookies in your web browser to provide information about user behavior when visiting the website. The Processor collects information about visitors using the Google Analytics tool. The purpose is produce statistics that is used for improvement and further development of the provided information content and services. Typical examples of what the statistics is used for are: information about the number of visitors the different pages have, the duration of the visits, which websites that the users navigate from and which web browsers that are being used.
By using the system, it may happen that you encounter pages containing services provided by third parties, like a map from Google Maps, a Vimeo clip, etc., and the use of pages that contain those services may lead to them entering additional cookies. This is nothing that Jobreg can control, and we therefore encourage you to make yourself acquainted with the privacy policies of those services as well.
Blocking and deleting cookies
If you do not want cookies to be placed in your web browser when visiting the website, you may change this from the settings of your web browser. More information about this can be found in the documentation of your web browser. Please note that, if you turn off the possibility for the website to enter cookies, it may affect the user experience and some functionality may also stop working.
