About Fudd Finans
Fudd was established in 2019 with the vision of becoming the leading player in the Nordics in inventory financing for vehicle dealers. Now, in addition to financing, the company also offers software solutions to both vehicle dealers and established leasing companies. Today, the Fudd group consists of three companies - all active in the automotive industry but in different niches. Fudd has offices in Stockholm, Linköping and Helsinki and today consists of 45 committed colleagues.
About the position as Chief Credit Officer
As the Chief Credit Officer (CCO) you will be responsible for managing credit losses while working closely with various teams and external partners to contribute to the implementation of the business strategy.
Your main responsibilities include:

Monitor performance across all risk decisions, and carry out end-to-end analyses on customer segments to deliver insights for optimizing Fudds credit strategies and drive profitable growth across various products and markets

Lead the credit department with high interaction with data scientists, and engineers as well as decision makers across the business

Lead the work on analyzing and assessing the credit risk on incoming business proposals and present recommendations to the Credit Committee

Hold a decision mandate of your own

Contribute to developing our internal guidelines and procedures

Continuously monitor, re-assess, and propose actions for current business exposures
About you
We see that you are curios, fearless and driven. You have a business mindset and can quickly understand Fudd Finans business.
Key requirements for the position are:

Have a higher degree in a quantitative field, such as eg finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or physics

Have worked as a data-driven analyst for preferably 4-5 years and have a solid understanding in analytics’ ways of working and how to package your insights for decision-makers

Have experience working with SQL, Python, R, or similar analytics tools

Have a strong analytical mind and a passion to transform data into actionable insights

Without being an expert, you need to be able to consider regulatory, business, and customer perspectives, and to balance those perspectives in your recommendations
