Do you want to work as a CFO in an ambitious and expanding Clean-Tech Company?

Geo4 Dynamics AS
Geo4 is a clean-tech company headquartered in Norway, building the next-generation platform for waste-to-energy. With proprietary, high-performance technology and backing from experienced investors in the industrial growth and private equity space, we are scaling commercial deployments in Europe and the U.S., focusing on infrastructure-light, repeatable rollouts with global potential.
As CFO, you will hold overall responsibility for the company’s financial management and support the executive team in all matters related to operations, decision-making, and projects. You will play a central role and actively contribute to the company's activities across all countries, handling a broad range of tasks to ensure the company achieves its objectives.
This role requires a combination of initiative, strategic thinking, operational excellence, and the ability to inspire and motivate employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for finance and accounting, including managing relations with financial and accounting partners
  • Period-end closings, reconciliations, and reporting in close collaboration with external partners
  • Financial management, liquidity, cost control, and ensuring profitability
  • Budgeting and forecasting in relevant countries where the company operates, primarily the USA, Luxembourg, and Norway
  • Contributing to investment projects and business cases
  • Supporting projects during the investment and planning phases, as well as ensuring control and follow-up during later operational phases
  • Risk assessments related to finance and broader operational areas
  • Ensuring operations and transactions comply with applicable accounting rules and standards, e.g., intercompany transfers, tax calculations, etc.
  • Preparing reports for the executive team, the Board of Directors, and other stakeholders
  • Supporting management in matters related to financing and investors, and being comfortable presenting in such environments
  • Administrative tasks related to the shareholder register, public authorities, procurement and contributing to contracts and agreements across the organization and countries

Who are you?
We are seeking a dedicated individual with a strong holistic and business-oriented perspective grounded in finance. As this role is broad and will be an active contributor to the company’s development, personal attributes and growth potential will be important.
Relevant qualifications include several of the following:
  • Higher education in finance/economics (e.g., a master’s degree) with strong academic results
  • Experience from finance/accounting roles combined with commercial insight
  • Experience from scale-up and agile environments, with the ability to contribute in a dynamic and fast-changing setting
  • International perspective and experience
  • Strong skills in relevant tools such as Excel and Power BI
  • Strong analytical and strategic abilities
  • Excellent proficiency in both English and Norwegian

We are looking for someone who can balance being proactive, opportunity-oriented, and solution-driven while also acting as a challenger who asks the critical questions. You must enjoy high pace and variation and be comfortable with evolving situations and strategies. The right candidate is self-driven, a strong initiator, and capable of handling complexity and efficiency simultaneously.

What we offer
This is a rare opportunity to help shape the financial and operational foundation of a high-growth, internationally expanding clean-tech company with transformative potential.
