Our Swedish team consists of a Country Manager, a highly experienced Senior Account Manager, and a dedicated administrator. We work closely together and maintain strong ties with our Northern European underwriting colleagues.

You will work from our newly renovated Swedish office with over 30 employees.

Your Role

As Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with Swedish surety clients and brokers. You will play a key role in driving business growth, ensuring high service standards, and contributing to the strategic development of our client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of medium and large-sized surety clients in Sweden.
  • Lead client and broker relationships, ensuring proactive and professional engagement.
  • Drive sales and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Atradius’ international network to deliver seamless service.
  • Draft financial submissions and assess client risk profiles.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with clients and brokers.
  • Contribute to team success through knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a strong relationship management profile, excellent communication skills, and a commercial mindset.

Ideal qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in client-facing roles, preferably within financial services, insurance, or other relationship-driven industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships with clients and brokers.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels – both internally and externally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Solid understanding of the Swedish business landscape and culture.
  • Relevant academic background or business education.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on growth, profitability, and service excellence.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
