We are looking for a Buyer
Job Description
- Manage all non-project related procurement within the company.
- Execute procurement activities, including purchase orders (POs) and contracts, according to requirements.
- Maintain and manage supplier frame agreements and other supplier contracts, with particular emphasis on hire-in personnel agreements.
- Maintain client supplier agreement archive.
- Prepare ITT (Invitation to Tender) documents and perform tender evaluation and negotiation.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (IT, HSEQ, Rotation, Administration, etc.) to forecast requirements.
- Follow up on procurement reporting and ensure a clear formal audit trail of correspondence and communication.
- Coordinate supplier quality surveillance and evaluate new suppliers for approval.
- Assist in work related to the Norwegian Transparency Act.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
- Preferably 3–5 years of procurement or contract experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ambitious and willing to lead if needed.
- Strong communication and cooperation skills.
- Structured and systematic approach.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Able to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English.
- Proactive, solution- and goal-oriented.
- QHSE awareness.
