NG Nordic is a vital part of the Nordic industrial infrastructure, generating EUR 1,3 billion in revenue with a team of about 3,400 employees and 90 sites.NG Nordic are looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking Group Risk & Security Director to lead and develop their enterprise risk and security strategies. In this role, you’ll be supported in proactively managing financial, operational, and security-related risks while building a strong culture of awareness and trust across the organization. As a part of their journey NG Nordic has succeeded because the employees are adaptable, collaborate well, and share their expertise. As this is a new position, you’ll play a key role in defining processes and building the foundation for future success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing agile, actionable risk management strategies across NG Nordic
- Driving the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process and aligning it with our strategic goals and risk appetite
- Analyzing financial and operational risks and impacts
- Acting as a strategic advisor to the Executive Team, Treasury, Compliance, and handle external partners such as insurers
- Developing and maintaining NG’s security policies and practices, including oversight, performance reporting, and incident management
- Ensuring compliance with Nordic and EU legislation and standards
You’ll also lead risk and security culture-building activities, training, and cross-platform collaboration, while designing effective tools, workflows, and processes. To succeed, you must be able to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders within IT, Finance, Legal, HSSEQ and external actors like auditors and authorities. The position requires industrial understanding and preferably experience from an international corporation, and is ideal for someone who wants to contribute to a sustainable future through risk leadership in the circular economy .

Requirements:
- University degree in risk management, industrial economics, or related field
- Ideally, you have 5+ years of experience from multinational environments, but we’re open to strong candidates with equivalent experience from other complex settings
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk standards (Nordic/EU)
- Experience in crisis management and strategic risk evaluation
- Skilled in Power BI and fluent in written/spoken business English
- Familiarity with ISO 31000 is a plus
- Preferably you speak and write one of the Nordic languages in addition to English
